Day 8: G20 Man on Fire Conference

Morning

On this good Thursday we embark on faith-based missions; giving back to the communities and people of Southern Cape. We start with an early breakfast at 6:30 am, with car service leaving the Romney at 7:00 sharp.

Mid-day to afternoon

Today will see us to two seperate destinations; both offering faith-based opportunities of service. We will explore the deeper side of life and culture in Southern Cape, offering prayer and hope to the unfortunate and largely unseen.

  • Child and Youth Care Centre with a mission to take care of babies from birth to two years who have been abandoned, orphaned, neglected or who was born out of an unplanned and crisis pregnancy.

  • Child and Youth Care Centre dedicated to the provision of residential care to children outside their family's environment; servicing approx. 22 boys between the ages of 12 and 18.

Evening / Night

After a long day of giving and service, we return to the Romney before we come together and receive a blessing of bounty at the Radisson Blue. This will be in a familiar location being the V&A waterfront. This dinner will also be the kickoff to the penultimate G20 Summit. After dinner, rest and relaxation.
